Remember those days when there were no YouTube cooking channels, Facebook pages, websites & not even Smartphones and Wifi?
The few ways to learn the cooking and new recipes are either people around you, weekly TV shows or Cooking classes. Every other person used to have a diary to note those recipes and people hesitate to share them because they were their little secrets 😄.
Who knew that things will rapidly change to an extent that recipes of the whole world will be at your fingertips in a reach of seconds.
I was fond of learning new things. There was a time when everyone taking different courses and one-day cooking classes in different institutes in Karachi. I was one of them and the best part of those classes was when after making a dish in front of us Teacher gave a little portion to everyone to taste 😋. Like everyone else, I also had my recipe diary which migrated with me to Canada and I still use it sometimes to create that good old magic.
Today we celebrated Sunday by making “Kaaley Choley” using one of a recipe from my cookbook.
