Dollarama is a trap, You go there intended to buy one thing and then suddenly realize that there are so many other stuff you really need to buy and then you think that you are buying the stuff for cheap which is apparently a big lie that you tell yourself just to feel comfortable about your shopping🙈
Back in the days when I newly arrived in Canada, there were things available for dollar at Dollar stores but now barely there is any stuff for dollar there and range is actually touches $4 so I try my best not to be there but when Fatima asked me that she really needed something important for her project, The whole way I was repeatedly telling her(and reminding myself inside) that remember you just have to buy two things. Yahya was with us and now he understands this magical shop from where he easily gets approval for multiple things and feels the joy of shopping. He started to plan to get his stuff and reminded me that I still haven’t bought him that Paw patrol drawing book he kept asking me for so long(which he skips every time and buy something else so he can have the reason for next time 😄).
So we stopped by Dollarama and those thoughts started to come in my mind, That transparent table cloth got dirty I’ve to buy one while putting that in cart I thought it’s no more a Fall season how about having a change so I picked a new cover and then saw that shiny snowflake table runner which will surely look cute on top, Also Amma was asking me for some jars so she could fill the goodies she brought and place them in front so kids could eat them so there came the Jars. There were little things coming up in my mind and going in the cart and in the end we ended up coming out from the store with two bags instead of two things🤦.
After reaching home Fatima told everyone the story that how Amma was lecturing her to buy only two things and ended up having so much extra stuff & I was blaming her because she was the reason we stepped in there 😉
Later when I set up the things on the Table everyone loved it & our place started to glow while reflecting the season and creating magical holiday vibes 🥰 (Thanks to Dollarama lol)
