When someone said to me that buying a house in Canada is so stressful, I was wondering really? But yes you can’t feel certain things until you don’t go through the process. For some people may be the experience is different but most of the time the uncertainty, fear and stress surrounds you till the end and haunted you like some ghost. No matter how much efforts you put in and how wisely you choose the people, you never know you are going to bump to the right ones or not. Are they sincere with you or providing you with the right information or just playing with your newbie innocence ? Everything seems fun and exciting and all officials feel supportive & sweet till you sign your first accepting document and after that game changes, it’s their turn.
We learnt a lot of lessons during our first home experience. For now, the news is that we are hanging in the middle. Our closing date was prolonged for some reasons and they are naming it Covid delay ( chalo bhaee ab sab Kuch is covid peh Daal do ) as a result we faced too much fatigue.
Everything was planned two weeks earlier so we had to cancel the movers. We had to vacant the house as per our commitment and we ended up having no house, no movers and even no truck was available to rent. Alhamdullilah for one of our family friends who helped us with their own truck and Alhamdullilah blessed to have a family here so we don’t have to worry about storage and rentals and rest don’t know from where Allah gave us so much energy to wrapped up, cleaned & moved the whole house on our own but it happened.
The stress was real and continuously there.I say all the time, Behind all the good things happening on our social media windows, many things are not visible. I know people are going through many challenges at this time so trying to be patient with the situation but I need lots of prayers from all of you that may Allah makes this time easy and let us get there in our place soon with kher, Ameen.
