So Alhamdullilah it’s been a week now and He is fully trained. He actually got poo trained by 2 years but the second phase was due now. Our home is officially diaper free and that means saving of so many $$$
Sharing a few toilet training tips to trained your toddler for all those who are in the same boat.
Every child is different, This is the first thing to understand. I actually feel for those kids born in the same year as they’ve to face the comparison their who life from their growth, speech, eating habits & bathroom routine to Education, Shadi, spouses and bachey, So please don’t think if that kid learnt it fast why not mine.
Number matters. There is a big difference between the firstborn and the 2nd or 3rd child. The first child got inexperienced parents and zero kid exposure at home while those who come later learn a lot from their siblings hence they’re early learners and get a full encouraging support system as well.
Don’t rush. I know if you started to train a newborn he gets it too but it is not workable because whenever you are going out of the home you’re again making him wear a diaper and this is like confusing him and putting a burden on yourself as well and getting nowhere at the end. Yes check for a sign and trained them for poop as soon as you can.it is easier and your life gets much more comfortable.
The First sign to check if your child is ready to get diaper-free is when he is waking up dry in the morning. Don’t be lazy at that time and start a Bathroom routine.
Accidents happen and there is no way to avoid them. Don’t get frustrated and make him wear his training pants again. If you’ve decided to do it, Patience is a key and there will surely be a lot of work but it will be only for a couple of days then life will be easier.
Happy Training!
