Ms. Saba look at this, I was busy talking to my co-worker when my 6 years old little cute student called me, And when I read the sentence on the whiteboard we both burst into laughter. This was the last thing you can expect from a little pie who can cry and laugh within minutes. My friend said to him oh I would love to take that offer if Ms. Saba won’t lol, The little one was confused. Thankfully he explained later that he listened to spice girls’s song recently so he was trying to write it down and later he completed the phrase after taking spelling help (so many of my teenage memories associated with that song😍)
Children are angels, They often don’t know what they are doing or talking. They are like a blank paper where you can write anything. They adopt things from their surroundings and start copying them. From postures and gestures to language our kids are a true reflection of us. Especially during the teenage period when they often doing silly things or behaving unreasonably, We expect them to behave like an adult just because their body has physically developed, but remember researches proved that the Human brain is not fully developed until the age of 25 (yes 25 surprising), That means you are not up to a certain level of maturity before 25.When I think of my childhood, Teen time or early 20s I really sometimes wish I could go back and fix the things which is not in my hand anymore, but What is in my hand is to help my kids and other kids around me, try to understand their emotional needs and behaviour, Issues and causes behind their attitude and Instead of judging them, Help them to grow, cheer, laugh and most importantly show them love when they are disturbed and need it the most.
